We have a new system and technique for whitening teeth that we are very excited about. The system utilizes a precision fitting mouth tray. The tray seals at the gumline thus preventing leakage of the bleach into the mouth. The bleach stays on the teeth longer and is not diluted by saliva and therefore results in more whitening.
The actual bleaching gel that we use with this system is the best chemistry available and refrigerated from the time it is manufactured until we receive it and we immediately refrigerate it. Research has shown that bleaching gels break down in warm temperatures rendering the gel to be less active and less effective, resulting in less whitening.
